Terms and Conditions of Hire

These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between The Dancing Den and the customer (“you”, “your”) for the hire of inflatable party tents and associated equipment. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking and Deposits

1.1 A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your hire date.
1.2 A refundable security deposit will also be required prior to delivery. This will be refunded after collection, provided that the equipment is returned in the same condition it was delivered, with no damage or excessive cleaning required.
1.3 The remaining balance (including any travel costs, if applicable) must be paid in full before or on the day of delivery.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1 The non-refundable deposit cannot be returned if you cancel your booking.
2.2 If your event cannot proceed due to adverse weather conditions (e.g., winds exceeding 27mph), your booking may be rescheduled to another available date at no extra cost.
2.3 Refunds will not be given due to weather, but every effort will be made to accommodate an alternative date.

3. Delivery, Setup, and Collection

3.1 The Dancing Den will deliver, install, and dismantle the tent and equipment at the agreed location and time.
3.2 Travel charges may apply for hires outside our standard service area (Northumberland). This will be confirmed at the time of booking.
3.3 The customer must ensure that access to the setup area is clear, flat, and free from obstructions or hazards.
3.4 Once the tent and equipment have been installed, they must not be moved or altered without prior permission from The Dancing Den.

4. Overnight Hire 4.1 Overnight hire is available at an additional cost, subject to prior agreement and safe conditions.

4.3 If you choose to deflate the tent overnight, all equipment must first be removed and stored securely indoors before the inflatable is switched off or deflated. 4.4 The customer is fully responsible for the tent and equipment for the entire hire period, including overnight hires. Any damage, theft, or loss occurring during this time will be charged accordingly. ⸻ 5. Use of Equipment 5.1 You are responsible for the equipment from the time of setup until collection. 5.2 No smoking, fires, barbecues, or naked flames are permitted in or around the tent or equipment at any time. 5.3 Alcohol consumption is permitted at your own risk. We do not hold a licence to sell or supply alcohol. 5.4 The tent is water-resistant, but if weather conditions become unsafe (e.g., strong winds over 27mph), we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the hire in the interest of safety. ⸻ 6. Damage, Loss, and Liability 6.1 Any loss or damage to the tent or equipment caused during your hire period will result in the loss of your refundable deposit. 6.2 You will be liable for any repair or replacement costs that exceed the deposit amount. 6.3 The Dancing Den holds Public Liability Insurance and Business Insurance, but this does not cover damage or injury caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow these Terms. 6.4 You are responsible for supervising the tent and ensuring guests use it safely. ⸻ 7. Safety and Supervision 7.1 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 7.2 The tent and equipment must not be moved or altered once installed by The Dancing Den team. 7.3 The Dancing Den reserves the right to cancel or terminate the hire if safety rules are ignored or conditions become unsafe. ⸻

8. Liability Disclaimer

The Dancing Den shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of our equipment, except where negligence on our part can be proven.

By paying your deposit and confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
